Thankful
There has been a tremendous amount of terror, fear and heartache over the last few weeks. From Paris to Beirut to Egypt to Baghdad, hearts all around the world were broken on 11/13/2015. The local news is all but the same. Protests, home invasions, and murder - right here at home. The thought of living in fear is one that I refuse to let rule my life, but it's impossible to keep the thoughts from creeping in.
I hope you take time to step away from the day-to-day and remember what it is that means the most to you this holiday season. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. A day dedicated to giving thanks, slowing down, and spending time with those we love. I am thankful for so much, but I want to say a big THANK YOU to all of you that continue to read this blog. I'm thankful for a place to freely share my ideas, adventures, and design. Thank you for following along and encouraging me to explore my passions. This blog may not change the world, but I hope it is a reminder that the simple things in life are what truly bring us joy. Happy Thanksgiving!
